In Loving Memory

was my first Newf and the reason I fell in love with
the breed. He was a very athletic dog and enjoyed hiking, swimming, cross-country
skiing and any other outdoor sport. He was born in Saarbrucken, Germany in 1992 and moved with
me to the land where his breed originated, Newfoundland, at the age of
two. He came from champion lines and was been pointed in Canada. Nero
was shown in Germany at two specialty shows and placed second and
fourth in open class, each time with an excellent rating. Nero was the
patriarch of the household and enjoyed his retirement until almost the age of fourteen.

was the next addition to the family. Born in Trenton,
Nova Scotia. She was our sweetheart. She liked her role as "auntie" to our
puppies and taught them good manners and fine social graces. Nana enjoyed therapy work at the local nursing
homes, and left a big hole in our hearts when she passed away at 13-1/2 years of age.

was the perfect example of a gentle, laid-back, affectionate
Newf. At his first show weekend at the age of 14 months, he won best
of breed and a group placement. Oso had earned his Canadian Championship.
He also did therapy work and enjoyed bringing a smile to the people he
meets. He was a natural retriever and water dog. Due to old age he left us a few months before 13th birthday.

was a pretty girl and knew it well. She was a very
active and happy dog, full of energy and the queen of our pack. She brought to Aqua Kennels four litters of beautiful and healthy puppies. She proved to be an excellent
mother, attentive to the needs of her puppies. Sini had earned the nickname
of "hoover" around
our home; not a crumb could be found on our kitchen floor. She also
earned her Canadian Champion title. Sini passed away at the age of 12-1/2
