Week Three

The puppies' teeth are coming in now. Mama is starting to wean them off milk. The little guys are now eating solid food. As you can see they get right into it! They are fed four times a day, and whenever mama comes into the whelping box, they grab a quick drink of milk. Mama (a.k.a. hoover) is enjoying this part the most, since she gets to clean up any left-overs. The puppies are learning how to drink water from their bowl. Soon they will be out of the whelping box and running around in the dog room.
